TITAN Brushless Gimbal Frame

 Product Description

READ THIS FIRST! This is only the gimbal frame- we do not sell the gimbal motors and gimbal controller at this time; you will need to order the electronics separately. ALSO; tuning a gimbal can be very challenging- it is usually much harder to tune than a multirotor. We cannot provide technical support on the electronics; you will need to consult the resources that are made available by the electronics vendor.

Take your aerial photography setup to the next level! The TITAN Brushless Gimbal allows you to get shots that used to be limited to professionals! The unique design sets it apart from other systems available:

  • Up-front camera position eliminates the need for tall landing gear, and allows you to get a full 180deg of camera tilt without getting props in the shot! (depending on setup)
  • The under-slung battery tray uses the mass of the battery to greatly reduce vibrations on the camera platform.
  • Integrated bubble level allows you to precisely calibrate the gimbal controller in the field.
  • Slotted screw holes allow for lots of adjustment to the camera balance- this allows you to perfectly balance a wide variety of small cameras.
  • The camera platform is reversible- allowing you to free up the video-out port on a GoPro.
  • Break-away design helps prevent damage in a crash; and replacement parts are available so you won't have to replace the entire system if something breaks.
  • Kit includes all required mounting hardware in stainless steel
  • 100% made in USA!

Required to complete:

  • TITAN Tricopter, Quadcopter, or Y6 that is equipped for heavy payload lifting
  • TWO brushless gimbal motors, maximum motor diameter is 30mm, motors must have 16x19mm spaced mounting holes on the stator, and four 12mm spaced mounting holes on the rotor.  (T-motor GB2208-80 motors are recommended, the hollow-shaft version requires a slight modification to the frame)
  • Two-axis brushless gimbal controller (Basecam 32bit BGC is recommended, but many less-expensive options are available)
  • Small camera like a GoPro Hero3 or Hero4. Slots for the Mobius Actioncam are included but it has not been tested with this camera.
  • Adhesive foam mounting tape
  • Lots of mini 4" cable ties
  • Patience- tuning a brushless gimbal is very time consuming, but the results are amazing!
